I gave up on Windows Although much better for non-touchscreen laptops, it still seems designed to be viewed on a tablet as text and graphics are very large with much less text on the screen at any one time. It does seem to work with few glitches though. Windows 10 also has fewer ways to personalize.

As you say, the power controls are much less customizable than Lenovo’s Power Manager, but that is a Lenovo program. This is an excellent suggestion and worked like a charm – I found the file and changed the compatibility – quite easy to do and things seem to b working!!
